The Maryland Pony Meet is a non-profit event. It is created by collectors, for collectors, and has NO affiliation to Hasbro or any other corporate sponsor or source of financial support. There is never any admission fee to attend the event, and likewise there is no required payment on the part of any attendees. There has never been a profit from a MD Pony Meet, and in fact there has always been a deficit. The event continues because of the love of the hobby and for the community that has grown, and continues to grow with every new year.
We are very lucky, and likewise very appreciative of all the individuals who step forward every year to support the MD Pony Meet. It is only with the support of attendees and patrons alike that the meet can continue to be held, and continue to grow. There are two main ways in which you can show your support for the MD Pony Meet:
Monetary donations can be made using the "Donate" button below. Please specify your own amount. These proceeds go toward providing games, activities, food, prizes, and the rental of the outdoor facilities. Every little bit is appreciated.
Another way to show your support is to donate a prize to the prize table used for nearly all the meet activities. These items are solely for participants of the games and activities during the meet, and most are supplied at the cost of the meet committee. Prizes can be any licensed My Little Pony item, of any generation and of any value.
